Deflector Gold Copper Project – Overview
The Deflector Gold Copper Mine ('Deflector') is located in the southern Murchison region of WA, 450km north of Perth and 160km east of the Western Australian regional city of Geraldton. First gold production from Deflector occurred in May 2016.
Deflector is a shallow narrow vein, high-grade gold and copper underground mine. The ore is located in a series of structurally controlled lodes. A fit-for-purpose processing facility was constructed to enable recovery of gold from a gravity circuit prior to the production of a copper gold concentrate via flotation methods.
